The Obama administration&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/nca2014.globalchange.gov\/report\" target=\"_blank\">National Climate Assessment<\/a> was just released, showing that the Southeast and Caribbean are vulnerable in nearly every realm where we see climate change happening, facing threats from &#8220;sea level rise, extreme heat events, hurricanes, and decreased water availability.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The following art piece, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SierraClub\/photos\/a.72328147571.77213.6204742571\/10152042632537572\/?type=1&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\">posted by the Sierra Club<\/a>, illustrates the difficulties inherent in implementing policy that will guide much needed change.
