Oppose seismic testing off the shore of SC
I just signed this letter to oppose seismic testing in SC’s coastal waters due to the demonstrated harm it does to marine life. Marine mammals are protected by federal law under the Marine Mammal Protection Act and the Endangered Species Act. Oil and gas, if they are to continue, should technologically evolve to cause less harm to the environment, not delve into new risks.
